The first few days on the river, I was CONSTANTLY fighting eddies and swirls which would throw me off the main current and over to the side where I would lazily drift upstream while everyone else passed me by. It was really frustrating, and it took me four days to get used to rowing the boat. Good luck to Tom – I’m sure he’ll do fine.
