Got caught in “never ending eddy”. The boat was just spinning around, no room to use the oars. I was jumping from tube to tube fending off the rock walls hoping that somehow / sometime would be traveling downstream again.

For the longest time, until my second trip down the canyon, I swore that left channel was at least a half mile long. That second trip, and all subsequent trips, I was able to climb up on the rock, just to get a good look to see what is actually there.

On my most recent trip, we did have a boat pin on the rock. That was an interesting day…
